Since 2013, David Production has been faithfully adapting the mega-hit manga series, Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure. A fourth season covering the fifth part of the manga, Golden Wind, had its broadcast till July 2019, which has led to fans now asking the question – when can you expect Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure Part 6?
Titled Stone Ocea, the manga series was released in 2003 and featured a new progeny of the Joestar family and her struggle to fight against an old foe. The production company has greenlit the series, and the makers expressed their excitement about bringing the next chapter to anime fans. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic delayed the series right during the production process. As lockdowns and travel restrictions continue, the talented team of writers, designers, and animators have found it difficult to engage in the collaboration that brings the series to life.
Thus, it is believed that fans would have to wait at least till the end of 2021 for the 6th part to arrive at their television screens.
However, this does not mean that fans have to sit empty-handed. In print since 1987, the Jojo franchise has a copious volume of manga that fans can go through. There are also light novels and movies that one can enjoy during this extended hiatus. And if that is not enough, some incredible fan artists and writers produce fanfictions and drawings that others can read and get inspired from.
Thus, the answer to when can you expect Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure Part 6 is certainly not one that fans would want to hear. But it is important to remember that behind the franchise are several hardworking and talented individuals who need to stay safe and healthy, too – and they are just as excited to get back to the franchise as the fans.
